James A. O'Shea Sr. of School St., Skaneateles Falls, died February 28. He was 84 years old.

Mr. O'Shea was born in Marcellus but had lived in Skaneateles Falls for more than 60 years. He retired from P and S Textile Co. of Skaneateles Falls. He was a member of St. Bridget's Church, Skaneateles Falls.

Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Major; a daughter, Ellen A. Dwyer of Marcellus; three sons, James A. O'Shea Jr. of Skaneateles and Daniel A. and Gerald E. O.Shea, both of Camillus; a sister, Esther O'Hara; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Ellen "Nellie" Major OShea, 90, of East Genesee Street, Skaneateles, died Oct. 28,1997 at Crouse Hospital.

Bom in Skaneateles Falls, she was a life resident of the area. She retired as a Medicaid supervisor with the Onondaga County Department of Social Services.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake in Skaneateles and the Altar and Rosary Society. Her husband, James, died in 1990; a daughter, Jean T. O'Shea, died in 1959.

Surviving are a daughter, Ellen O. Dwyer of Marcellus; three sons, James A. of Skaneateles, Daniel A. and Gerald E, both of Camillus; a brother, Sarto C. Major of Skaneateles; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
